We are located at 245 S. Gary Ave., Suite 207, in Bloomingdale, Illinois 60108.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you please notify us as soon as you can so that we have the opportunity to use that appointment time for other patients.  No show appointments or if cancelled less than 48 business hours (2 business days) in advance will be charged $75.00.

Scented products interfere with allergy testing and is bothersome to our chemically sensitive patients. You may be asked to wash off colognes before being seen for your appointment.

We’ve elected to use a voice mail system instead of a recording loop. If you reach our voice mail, please leave a CLEAR name and phone number (speak slowly). Our office staff checks messages at least every hour. Calls are prioritized and returned in between patients and every call is returned before going home.

For NON-medical issues (questions about an appointment or a bill, etc.), you can email us at [email protected]

(QUEST DIAGNOSTICS test results are available to the patients online.)

Ordering, reviewing, and interpreting test results, and discussing and conveying therapeutic options, and/or refilling and/or prescribing medications requires an office visit if you want these services to be billable to your insurance .

If you are unable to come in for the required office visit, then a telephone consultation can be done.
Telephone Consultations with Dr. Epperly, Roanne Dunaway, PA, or Anjitha Thomas, PA, are charged to your credit card.   Telephone consultation fee is  $60 per 15 minutes  (also see below)

Generally, prescriptions are given with enough refills to last until your next visit (as indicated by your doctor) or annually. Therefore, if you are out of refills, and/or if you are due for an office visit, your refill request may be denied.

Telephone consultations are available for patients who need to speak with the doctor or a Physician Assistant about any health concerns, modification of treatment, or to review or discuss test results, but it isn’t possible or practical to come into our office due to work, COVID, distance, or other reasons. This time-saving and convenient service costs $20 per 5 minutes, and can be scheduled with the front desk staff.   Charged time includes time spent reviewing your case before the actual call, writing orders, and preparing any prescriptions.  Payment will automatically be charged to your credit card that day or the next business day. TELEMED visits, on the other hand, are handled the same way as a regular office visit if they are done face to face via ZOOM. Insurance will now usually cover TELEMED visits in the same manner as an office visit. But this could change in the future as the threat from COVID19 subsides. Telephone consultations and TELEMED visits are scheduled through our front desk just like regular appointments.

We strongly recommend you save the copies of test results and office notes you receive from your visits. There is a modest charge for copying and mailing/faxing additional copies of office notes, lost test orders, prescriptions, or test results.

William L. Epperly, MD, FAAFP - MD, FAAFP

Dr. Epperly has been a board certified family practitioner since 1985. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago where he served as Co-Chief Resident. He is affiliated with Northwestern Central DuPage Hospital, although his practice is exclusively office-based. He is a certified Clinical Nutritionist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations.

Dr. Epperly has also received special training through courses and seminars in the areas of functional medicine, allergy, hormone therapy, and clinical nutrition. This has enabled him to become enormously more effective in dealing with thyroid issues, hormone issues, low testosterone, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, menopause, arthritis, bowel problems, and many others, while being able to rely much less on drug therapy. As an evangelical Christian, Dr. Epperly believes that good health is a blessing from God, and we are to be good stewards of the bodies we’ve been given. He tries to encourage his patients to pay strong attention to their spiritual health, and enjoys praying with anyone who so wishes.
